In 1999, after 17 years of practice with Downtown Cincinnati law firms, Mike Bergmann decided to establish his own law firm. His decision was based largely on his desires to (1) practice law in his own style  (providing  more personalized attention for his clients),  and (2) establish an office location which was more convenient to his clients than  a multi-story building in Downtown Cincinnati with difficult access and inconvenient, costly parking. The firm has been able to meet both objectives.  Clients are getting the level of attention which meets their needs, and the firm has established its office at an easily-accessible location. This firm has a first floor office, with free parking immediately outside its front door, and is situated within one mile of I-275, I-74, and Cross County Highway exits.  Those changes have been enthusiastically been received by the firm's clients and, as a result, the firm has thrived.

Since the firm's inception, Mr. Begrmann has continued to serve those clients who were the core of his client base in his earlier years--individuals and families, small-to-medium size businesses, and professional practices.  He has also continued to practice in those areas of law in which he had honed his skills--Business Formations; Business, Construction and Real Estate Transactions; Estate Planning; Probate Estate Administration; and Claim, Dispute, and Litigation Representation regarding Business, Construction, Injury and Death, Real Estate Matters, Torts (i.e., Negigence, Fraud, Conversion, Assault, etc.) and Will Contests.  (More details about Mr. Bergmann's areas of practice are addressed in the "Areas of Practice" section of this web site.)

At Michael J. Bergmann, LLC, Mr. Bergmann handles all legal matters directly, however, he is supported in his practice by a skilled staff who facilitate his ability to provide quality legal service for the firm's clients as promptly, efficiently, and economically as possible. (All support staff members are supervised by Mr. Bergmann, all of their substantive work is reviewed by him, and all of their time charges are billed at a fraction of Mr. Bergmann’s rate on hourly fee matters.)

Also, Mr. Bergmann uses many of the best-available technologies to  further increase his ability to meet his clients' needs as promptly, efficiently, and economically as possible. Included in the array of technologies utilized by the firm are: on-line research databases; an extensive library of over 10,000 personally-drafted documents (attorney-customized if used for a client); trial presentation, case management, document scanning, OCR, time-keeping and billing software; enhanced-speed Internet; and website, e-mail, and fax communication capabilities.
