Mr. Bergmann welcomes the opportunity to be of service to new or existing clients with respect to any personal injury or wrongful death claim.

Ancient philosophers said that "[t]he greatest wealth is health" and "he who has health has hope, and he who has hope has everything."

Mr. Bergmann understands how important "health" is to those of his clients who have either temporarily or permanently lost some or all of theirs ("personal injury clients") due to the negligence or other wrongful conduct of another person or entity. Mr. Bergmann also understands and sympathizes with the loss, pain, and financial hardship of families who have suffered the death of a loved one ("wrongful death clients") due to such conduct. 

In addition to having an appreciation of the plight of personal injury and wrongful death clients, Mr. Bergmann had the opportunity to see the handling of such claims from "the other side". Before forming this firm, Mr. Bergmann worked for nearly two decades for law firms which represented both plaintiff and insurance defense clients. From those experiences, Mr. Bergmann gained valuable insights into the insurance adjustment process and the emphases given to various factors in that process. Those insights have been helpful to him in his representation of his personal injury and wrongful death clients.

Since 1999 (when this firm was formed), Mr. Bergmann has been handling personal injury and wrongful death cases solely on behalf of claimants (called "plaintiffs" once a lawsuit is brought) Those cases ordinarily involve injuries or deaths resulting from motor vehicle collisions (i.e., auto accidents"), "slip and fall" accidents (involving slipping, tripping, or stepping in holes), property conditions or conditions, assault or assault and battery (involving threatened and/or actual harm or death), or product liability (i.e.,"defective products").

In those regards, Mr. Bergmann has handled numerous personal injury claims involving head, neck, and back injuries, disc bulging and herniation, nerve impingement and damage, limb and vertebral fractures, scarring and disfigurement, and fatal injuries, resulting from the negligence or other wrongdoing of another person , business, or public agency.

The personality of the attorney handling a personal injury or wrongful death case can also be an important part of the injured client's experience during the claim process. Mr. Bergmann is a good listener, has a sympathetic nature, and treats all of his clients with respect.

Mr. Bergmann is willing to handle most personal injury and wrongful death claims under a "contingency fee" arrangement-- that is, the client will not have to pay any attorney fees unless a recovery of damages is obtained on his or her behalf. Also, Mr. Bergmann offers his clients a contingency fee arrangement which is more favorable than the one ordinarily offered by many, if not most, local law firms.
