Mr.
Bergmann has the knowledge, training, and experience to assist most
small-to-medium size business and professional practices with their
business transactions. Mr. Bergmann's ability to help his clients is
enhanced by his extensive background working on business formations and
restructuring, estate and succession planning, employment and labor
relations, and real estate and construction transactions.
In addition to having that legal background, Mr. Bergmann has the
practical experience of being a business owner, having been a sole or
partial owner of law firms having work forces ranging from 3-20
employees.
Particular types of transactions which Mr. Bergmann is capable of
handling include:
• The sale or purchase of businesses
or professional practices (through the
transfer of assets or stock);
• The merger or consolidation of businesses and
professional practices;
• The development and implementation of a business
succession plans for business and
professional practice owners;
• The sale, purchase, license, lease, financing, and
exchange of any real, personal, and/or
mixed property(ies) for businesses and
professional practices.
Mr. Bergmann can provide whatever assistance the client requires in
most instances, including structuring the transaction; negotiating the
terms and conditions thereof; drafting or reviewing and revising the
documents used therein; and/or conducting the transaction closing or
coordinating the completion of the transaction obligations.
As with all other legal matters, Mr. Bergmann charges an initial
consultation fee of $75.00, however, if the client has additional legal
work done by this firm, that payment will be credited against any fees
charged for those services.
