Mr. Bergmann has the knowledge, training, and experience to assist contractors, subcontractor, suppliers, residential, commercial and public project owners with their construction-related legal needs.

Mr. Bergmann has been providing legal services to residential, commercial, and public project clients for more than fifteen years. For several of those years, Mr. Bergmann was actively involved in Allied Construction Industries (“ACI”) an organization providing educational and support services for the commercial construction industry, and was the Chapter Attorney for the Walls and Ceiling Contractors Association and the Tri-State Plastering Institute.

Also, in construction-related matters Mr. Bergmann can bring to bear additional, relevant expertise which he has gained from handling business and real estate transactions, employment and labor relations matters, and mediations, arbitrations, and litigation over the last 24 years.

Some of the services which Mr. Bergmann can provide are:

 • Negotiating, preparing, reviewing and revising    construction contracts;
 
 • Preparing Notices of Commencement    and Furnishing;

 • Preparing, filing, and perfecting Mechanic’s Liens,    and Public Project Fund Liens;

 • Challenging, bonding off, and/or obtaining the    release of Mechanic’s Liens and Public Project    Fund Liens;

 • Asserting and obtaining satisfaction of    performance  and payment bond claims;

 • Defending against the assertion of performance    and payment bond claims;

 • Representing clients in project-related mediations,    arbitrations, or litigations.

Mr. Bergmann is willing to provide many standardized construction–related legal services on a flat fee basis.
