he "sat out" one semester, working to earn sufficient money to return

From 1982 through 1998, Mr. Bergmann worked for two highly-regarded
downtown law firms, gaining valuable knowledge, training, and
experience in business formation; business, real estate; and

and wrongful death claims; and claim and dispute resolution (using
negotiation, mediation, arbitration, and litigation).
In January of 1999, Mr. Bergmann formed the law firm of Michael J.
Bergmann, LLC in the northwestern Cincinnati suburb of White Oak. Since
that time, Mr. Bergmann has been building a dynamic practice working
with small to medium sized businesses, professional practices, and
individuals in the above-mentioned areas of law.
Mr. Bergmann is admitted to practice before all of Ohio's state courts,
the federal trial courts for Northern and Southern Ohio and Northern
Kentucky, and the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals, and has represented
clients in NLRB, Department of Defense, Building and Zoning, and
various other administrative proceedings.

Mr. Bergmann has spoken and written articles on topics within his
practice areas for the general public and many professional, trade,
fraternal, civic, and religious organizations, on numerous occasions.
In recognition of Mr. Bergmann's expertise and reputation in the area
of estate planning, in1998, he was invited to become a member of the
Cincinnati Estate Planning Counsel. That organization gives legal,
accounting, insurance, investment, and banking professionals the
opportunity to exchange ideas with professional in other fields and to
learn sophisticated techniques from regionally and nationally known
guest speakers.

community by serving as a participant in the "Volunteer Lawyer for the
Poor" program, an arbitrator for the New York Stock Exchange, a

serving as a soccer, baseball, and basketball coach for his community's
athletic association, an elected committee member to his parish's
Education Commission, and an appointed liaison to his parish's
Financial Committee.
Personal Background:
Mr. Bergmann lives in White Oak with his wife Judy, and four of his six
children. (His oldest two children have "spread their wings", but are
